College Advance Program

When an International student or anyone whose native language is not English applies for College or University, there is a TOEFL requirement to prove that you have enough English skills to take classes at the college level.

ACL has several agreements with colleges and universities in California that will conditionally accept ACL recommended students without a TOEFL score.

In order to be recommended by ACL and accepted by colleges or universities without a TOEFL score, you will need to complete ACL Advanced ESL Course with “B” or higher grade.

ACL qualified students can advance and get accepted into the following colleges:

     ■ West Los Angeles College

     ■ Pasadena City College

     ■ Santa Ana College

     ■ Irvine Valley College

     ■ Glendale Community College

     ■ El Camino community College

     ■ Golden West College

     ■ Harbor College
