Spanish Program
Course Introduction
This is an introductory course in Spanish. It is designed to introduce students to skills necessary for casual conversation, reading and writing pertinent to everyday situations. Basic grammar and cultural topics are also examined.
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. converse on a variety of common topics in Spanish including introductions, family, shopping and food, directions and signs, hobbies and interests.
2. read and write brief passages about the above topics.
3. learn the basic pronunciation rules of Sapnish.
4. gain an appreciation of Spanish and Latin American culture.
