Our ESL classes are designed to familiarize students with American culture by balancing life skills with college preparatory work. Basic communication skills are heavily emphasized throughout the length of this course.
ESL Beginning(Low&High)
This course caters to the Beginner level student and it primarily focuses on grammar acquisition, vocabulary building, and listening comprehension. Introductory level conversations comprise the bulk of this class’ discussions.
ESL Intermediate(Low&High)
This course develops the student’s increasing mastery of English communication skills by emphasizing common grammatical structure, vocabulary, conversation, and reading comprehension. Special emphasis is placed on higher-level discussions and appropriate use of language.
ESL Advanced(Low&High)
Advanced: This course prepares the student for the challenge of advanced college-level reading, writing and conversation. However, not only do we improve our students’ English level, but also their confidence in comprehending and speaking English. Controversial class discussions and comprehensive understanding of American slang and idioms comprise the meat and potatoes of this course.
